About a quarter of 420 Sacramento area workers surveyed by the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and the University of California Davis Graduate School of Management said they may leave the Sacramento area within three years.

Most of the people surveyed were full-time, Sacramento city-based workers in the education, nonprofit, health services, government and technology sectors.

Of those surveyed, Generation Z workers (age 18 to 24) and baby boomers most often said they may leave.
