Ready Workforce

In March 2021, the Sacramento Metro Chamber, in partnership with the UC Davis Graduate School of Management, launched a workforce survey to understand the drivers of satisfaction and retention among Sacramento residents. Nine attributes were used to survey the skilled workforce in the Greater Sacramento region.

What’s next?

Ready Workforce is a pillar of the Sacramento Metro Chamber’s 4-Point Business Promise. Our goal is to activate our young professional network to define and create the regional conditions needed to retain and grow talent in the market. Quarterly, a panel of experts serve on our Ready Workforce Policy Committee to design policy that will close the gap between business needs and a skilled workforce.
